My EDC Bag

I think this is the first post I make about my bag, It has been a progression to the current one.

I started with a Voodoo Tactical Level 3 bag in ACU, I think it was a little to flashy, and at the time I had other needs so I gave it to my nephew, I proceed to order a Maxped Jumbo and I got fool as a lot of people by the Maxpedition dwarf, basically if you look at the product page the bag looks huge in the guy on the pics, after having the bag load it and realizing it was too small I upgrade to the Maxped Mongo, This bag was perfect, It was big enough to load my stuff, it would fit my netbook, and it is really comfortable but, After a while I decided to add a first aid kit, and it killed the space in the bag.

I still have this bag, I use it from time to time when I need something smaller, after this bag I put a lot of though in what I wanted/needed at the time, so I order a Maxped MPB, once again I thought that was it, after carrying it for a while I kinda got frustrated with the "briefcase"type of the bag, I realize it was too uncomfortable to run with the bag, so once again I ditched this bag into my closet and decided to order a backpack, that's when the Voodoo Tactical Tobago arrived to my door, at first I was in love with this bag, big enough to carry everything and still had a lot of space left, I decided to test this bag and went on a hike, this bag is so big that it is easy to over load it, after a while on the hike the bag started to feel really uncomfortable, so once again another bag had to go.

I "stole" my wife's Maxped Monsoon, this bag loads pretty good, the only problem is that the organization of this bag sucks, you need smaller bags to actually organize it properly, I returned this bag as quickly as possible.

I debated on getting a Maxped Kodiak, but being a gear slinger with only one strap, I wasn't sure how much I would like this bag, so I decided to go back to the original bag I had, but in a more subtle color Coyote Brown, I started doing some research and discover that Condor makes the same bag, with better quality than Voodoo, so I order one and loaded it, I can say I love this bag, enough space for my stuff, it's not easy to overload, and it is pretty comfortable carrying it around.

I added a couple of extras like a Maxped M2 pouch, Monkey admin pouch, mini rolly polly, and some combat shears.

I'll make a new post with the contents of my bag later on, here are a few pics of the bag as it sits today.

First post of the year

It's been a busy beginning of the year, I have been going to the Red Cross to try to volunteer, work has been crazy and I haven't had to much free time.

I am still carrying my Millie and I added a Boker Wharcom as a less intimidating knife to have around sheeple, the Millie has proven to be an excellent all around knife, it has performed all the task thrown at it.

My EDC has been changing a lot lately, I have been pretty much set in my level 3 assault pack, with a couple of attachments, a rip-away emt first aid kit, a maxpedition M-1 pouch and a Mini rolly polly.

Also I recently bought a Spyderco Mule which i am still to do a review on it.
